**The Role**
- Is motivated by providing custom design solutions to meet customer needs and works eagerly to attain the maximum potential in each and every customer interaction.
- Builds knowledge base through taking personal initiative and has the aptitude to be able to clearly communicate the technical solution to the customer.
- Displays an outgoing personality and easily initiates conversations with clients.
- Displays the type of personality that can easily and clearly communicate a polite persona over the phone.
- Can liaise with manufacturing to ensure the customer needs are being met.
- Shows the ability to adapt and can think on their feet while overcoming customer objections or sourcing out the best solution for a technical requirement.
- Displays an assertive but collaborative approach to sales.
- Receives client orders for products and accurately communicates orders to the appropriate departments.
- Communicates with cross functional departments to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in Process Analytical Sample System Design in a technical role focused on Gas and Liquids Process Analytical Products.
- Ability to design, size, select and supply equipment to support all Sample Systems and Sample Handling; including design, drawings, fabrications, and electrical.
- Experience in Design and Drafting Programs including CAD.
- Ability to size, select and supply equipment to support all Gas Analytical Products including Continuous Gas Analyzers, Gas Chromatographs, Moisture, CEMS, Combustion, etc.
- Ability to size, select and supply equipment to support all Liquid Analytical Products including PH, Conductivity, Turbidity, Dissolved Oxygen, Chlorine, BOD, COD, Colour, Quality etc.
- Technical Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory in English.
- Proficient in working with an ERP System
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
