**CLINICAL ASSISTANT** (15-month contract) | Edmonton**

**Your tasks at a glance**- You assist during the pre-op exams and fill the patient’s charts accurately.- You answer patient’s questions and ensure the best service.- You work closely with Optometrists.- You conduct pre-operative and post-operative tests for patients.- You update the appointment system after every patient's consultation.- You schedule and confirm post-operative appointments by telephone.- You will be cross-trained in Receptionist duties once your initial training is complete.

**A clear view of your assets**- You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).- You have an interest in the medical field and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.- You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust.- Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: medical assistant, physiotherapy assistant, optometry assistant, orderly, dental assistant, pharmacy lab technician, sterilization assistant, animal health technician assistant, veterinary assistant, etc.).- You are looking for a fast-paced, dynamic work environment where your ability to work in a team and excel at multi-tasking will be an asset.**Schedule**:You have flexible work availability from Monday to Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm), with Saturdays on rotation.**Required**: You are comfortable traveling between our LASIK MD South, LASIK MD North West & King LASIK locations.
