Refer to the "How to apply" section if you require a disability-related accommodation. **What can I expect to do in this role?**: In this exciting role, you will: - lead and coordinate the delivery of community employment programs and services including planning, coordination, implementation and administration of operational policies and programs; - provide support and expertise to management and staff on employment and training programs, issues management, policies and related service delivery and database systems; - act as the main point of contact regarding inter-related program areas and service delivery issues; - develop regional business processes, tools, supports and training; - provide input into the program planning process by identifying operational resource requirements, forecasting financial, staffing, and technological resourcing for anticipated service delivery changes; - research and analyse to investigate and resolve service delivery issues **How do I qualify?**: **Technical Knowledge and Skills**: - You have proven skills in providing technical guidance and support to staff and managers related to employment programs, products and services and provincial and federal legislation. - You have experience with program life cycle, program analysis and evaluation techniques and reports/business cases and risk management principles. - You can provide interpretation, input and support for the business operational and strategic planning process, develop business planning reports/business cases and monitor the delivery of regional employment and training programs and services. - You have knowledge of the theories and principles of adult learning and education, group dynamic principles and training techniques to assess training methods and develop and delivery training/information sessions. **Leadership Skills**: - You have proven skills to provide team leadership related to the delivery and administration of community employment programs and services including planning and coordinating work activities. - You can supervise and coordinate the planning and organizing of program activities and workload involved in the delivery of employment programs and services within the community. **Communication, Consultation and Advisory Skills**: - You have experience participating on committees and/or working groups to share and exchange information on best practices, strategy development, policy, program, and services. - You have proven interpersonal, consultation and advisory skills to respond to inquiries and provide advice regarding program and service delivery issues and compliance with program eligibility criteria and provide interpretation of legislation, policies, guidelines. - You have demonstrated written and oral communication, facilitation and presentation skills to conduct meetings; prepare reports, briefing notes and correspondence, present training sessions and workshops. **Analytical and Problem Solving Skills**: - You possess analytical skills to identify, evaluate and analyse the issues or impact related to new or revised operational policies, systems, and procedures on the delivery of employment programs and services and develop/recommend strategies for resolution. - You know how to coordinate and monitor implementation of new/revised programs or program related tools, processes and systems including communication, training, logistics, issues tracking, etc. - You have demonstrated skills in identifying and analysing service delivery requirements and performance, and associated budget and resource requirements to develop performance and quality service standards and de
