Apex Valve Services has an opportunity for a Document Controller to join our Automation team.
The successful applicant will work as part of our inside sales team, assisting with project management, production scheduling and document control.
Some duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Sending, receiving, and processing documents as necessary.
- Process a variety of documents in written and electronic form (e.g. test reports, test plans, etc.) for the purpose of disseminating information and/or materials to appropriate parties.
- Compiling and organizing order documents into packages for customers.
- Controlling company and project documentation.
- Maintain documents, files and records (e.g. tracking shipments, production schedules, etc.) for the purpose of documenting material activities, and providing reliable resource information.
- Participate in the shipping, receiving, organizing, storing and issuing of material for the purpose of assuring shipments are prepared and delivered in a timely manner.
- Problem solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries.
- Ensuring all documentation meets formal requirements and standards.
**Requirements**:
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Proficient use of various Microsoft Office products particularly Outlook and Excel
- Good time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
