Koch Fuel Products is seeking an experienced Controller for the Red Deer administration office. The Controller is responsible for maintaining, balancing, and completing all aspects of administration for Koch Fuel Products.

The Controller must have strong time management skills to ensure all daily responsibilities are completed. They must have high attention to detail as they are responsible for the completion of many administrative duties.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Controller include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Bank account monitoring
- Cash flow analysis
- Superpass sales
- Compare bank to GL
- Customer adjustments
- Payroll processing
- Maintain RRSPs
- Month end processing
- Open/close GL period
- Generate month end invoices/statements
- Inventory revaluation
- Manage truck expenses
- Bank reconciliations
- Financial comparison to proforma
- Expense reallocation
- Maintain employee credit cards
- Calculate GST
- Monthly financial reports
- Equifax Business receivables
- Track monthly accruals
- Banker’s acceptance renewal
- Prepare documents for year end
- Inventory declaration
- Equifax credit checks
- Dyed fuel number verification
- Federal carbon tax exemption verification
- Assisting with IT
- Take calls when security issues arise
- Maintain continuity and asset listing
- set up leases and loans

Schedule
- Work from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- 30 min
- 1 hour lunch break

Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting
- Able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal);
- Strong problem solving skills;
- Accountable and dependable;
- Proficient in using a computer, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access);
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality of work;
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills;
- Able to demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic;
- Able to handle multiple priorities and tasks.

Working Conditions
- Work in a busy, open office area with constant interruptions;
- Able to work on a computer for long periods of time;
- Able to comfortably answer phones and give consistent customer service
- May spend long hours in intense concentration which requires attention to detail and high levels of accuracy; and
- Required to meet a number of deadlines which may cause stress.

Salary based on qualifications and experience.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
