Primary Focus
The Regional Support Officer provides essential coordination support to the Customer Relationships team’s key functions of engaging with senior health decision-makers and monitoring jurisdictional intelligence insights, and sharing these insights within Canada’s Drug Agency. The Regional Support Officer is responsible for communication, collaboration, and coordination, as well as documentation, analysis, and reporting activities that directly support the pan-Canadian Customer Relationships team.
What do the daily responsibilities look like?
**On any given day, the Regional Support Officer will**:
- support the development and implementation of communications mechanisms across the Customer Relationships team for the purpose of internal sharing
- facilitate regular information exchanges across business units and coordinate Customer Relationships team input to collaborative activities
- support collaboration across internal programs to facilitate both sharing and gathering of Customer Relationships team jurisdictional intelligence to support new initiatives, project scoping, and projects in progress
- monitor and conduct analysis of team inputs to support the identification of topics and opportunities to support senior health decision-makers and health system leaders, and to share knowledge about common system priorities, challenges, and opportunities
- provide coordination support for mechanisms to facilitate connection and knowledge-sharing among senior health decision-makers (e.g., for roundtable or summit meetings)
- lead coordination between project teams and Regional Leads to facilitate use of relevant jurisdictional intelligence and senior health decision-maker input
- support Regional Leads in facilitating awareness and supporting use of Canada’s Drug Agency products and services by senior health decision-makers, with a focus on contributing to the realization of outcomes and impacts on key jurisdictional health system priorities
- develop and maintain documentation of team guidance and procedures
- develop and maintain documentation and reporting templates for relationship management and jurisdictional intelligence functions
- lead the collation and summary of information from team documentation to support routine and ad hoc reporting for Customer Relationship and Engagement team use, in support of organizational performance, impact, and operational reporting and/or other internal or external communication needs
- as requested by the Manager, Customer Relationships, provide coordination support for team meetings and/or other internal or external meetings.

- completed post-secondary education in a health-related discipline or public administration, combined with no less than 3 years of related experience; a suitable combination of education and experience may be considered.
