**Job Summary**
**Key Responsibilities**
- Book with load boards, broker networks and direct customers
- Dispatch loads to drivers and communicate routing and delivery instructions
- Track and monitor load progress to ensure on-time pickup and delivery
- Maintain regular communication with drivers, brokers, and customers
- Negotiate freight rates and confirm load details
- Manage load confirmations, rate sheets, and documentation
- Resolve issues related to delays, breakdowns, or schedule changes
- Maintain accurate records using dispatch and tracking software
**Requirements**:
- 1+ years of dispatching or load booking experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of load boards and freight negotiation
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with North American freight lanes and regulations
- Proficient in dispatching software and Microsoft Office
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
**Preferred Assets**
- Experience with dry van or reefer freight (asset)
- Bilingual in English and another language (asset)
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
