**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
- Ensure all food handling and safety guidelines are followed to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Help with inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up workstations and closing down at the end of shifts.

**Skills**
- Proficient in food handling techniques and understanding of food safety regulations.
- Experience working in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen staff.
- Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures is an advantage.
- A passion for the food industry and commitment to providing exceptional service.

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
