**Marketing Product Delivery Specialist 3**

Annual salary: $ 86,200.00 - 92,900.00

**What you'll do**
- Develops and implements business and marketing plans and strategies for new and existing large commercial and

industrial products by: analyzing and assessing market and product data, corporate strategy, brand messaging and other
factors; analyzing risks and financial viability for various product strategies; determining product objectives, targets and
strategies; and presenting and recommending product plans;
- Develops financial reports for new and existing products including: product budgets, forecasting and performance

monitoring methods for approved product development plans and initiatives; monitoring and ensuring sales, promotion and
product delivery targets and goals are being achieved and/or modifying strategies and tactics to achieve goals as
appropriate.
- Develops and implements marketing plans for events and campaigns to promote various products by: analyzing and

assessing marketing and product data, corporate strategy, brand messaging and other factors; analyzing risks and financial
viability for various product strategies; determining event objectives, targets, strategies and budgets and performance
monitoring methods; provides project management over the planning, implementation and problem solving for events;
reviews and approves contractor and other invoices for payment; negotiates contract terms and conditions with consultants.
- Provides ongoing management and performance measurement for various products by: analyzing revenues, expenses,

expenditure activity, brand awareness and messages and other measures for variances; adjusts product marketing
strategies as appropriate; prepares reports, recommendations and makes presentations to industrial and large commercial
staff regarding product performance and/or weaknesses.
- Participates with various teams to develop strategic direction, brand messages, processes, policies and procedures for

new and existing products.
- Maintains currency with product technologies, trade ally markets, customer segments; attends conferences, trade shows

and maintains contacts with trade and industry representatives.
- Provides technical direction to other workers participating on assigned product development and implementation projects;
prepares and presents product implementation sessions.
- Participates in special and other studies as assigned that do not affect the value of the job.

**What you bring**
- Marketing, product planning and implementation, statistics, promotional strategies and implementation, measurement and

monitoring techniques and methods, project management, team leadership, analytical methods, budgeting, financial
management and control methods, planning and organizing procedures, methods and techniques, computer and related
degree in Business Administration or Commerce with a marketing major combined plus BC Hydro in house courses in the
practices.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a progressively more responsible marketing position in a large organization involving

product development and management, market research and analysis and complex market dynamics. Well developed oral,
written, presentation and interpersonal communication, analytical and teamwork skills.

Additional Information:

- Strong Excel skills to lead monthly reporting activities
- Knowledge of Demand Side Management, Industrial PS programs and the industrial sector will be an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment with limited supervision.
- Good presentation and public speaking skills would be an asset.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe.
- A strong background in marketing planning and execution, communication and web based marketing will be considered

an asset.
