**JSM Law**is currently seeking an experienced **Commercial and Residential Real Estate Law Clerk**to join our growing team.

The position is a full-time, in-office (Mississauga), permanent position.

**Responsibilities for the Law Clerk include, but are not limited to**:

- Must have the ability to manage real estate closings from beginning to end;
- Meeting with clients to review documentation, prepare reporting letters and preparing other transactional documents;
- Keeping track of key dates in the real estate closing process;
- Drafting, reviewing, amending and updating documentation including terms of agreement of purchase and sale, and closing documents;
- Ordering title insurance policies;
- Reviewing Title Search documents and preparing documents on Teraview;
- Scheduling and coordinating closings, ensuring all parties are informed and prepared.

**Assets**:

- Experience with the development and operation of commercial leasing while representing major developers, and builders, etc.
- Experience in pre-construction and post-construction purchases;
- Experience acting for contractors, developers, re-sellers, purchasers, real estate agents and brokers.

**Qualifications for Law Clerk**:

- 3+ years of experience at a law firm, and understanding of commercial law and residential law;
- Ability to work independently with strong work ethics;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.

**Salary**:

- Salary **commensurate to experience**
