Voir Haircare, an art-inspired beauty brand, is seeking a talented, driven individual for the position of Product Development Manager. As our Product Development Manager, you will play a critical role in facilitating the research and development of new premium hair care products, and expanding our hair care line into an all-inclusive beauty destination.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Continuously conceptualize new haircare products aligned with the Voir brand
- Conduct research on ingredients, product category, customer demographic and beauty trends to identify new opportunities for product development
- Understand the chemistry behind product development and establish a standardized process of leading a new product from conception to production to launch
- Generate competitive analysis report to evaluate the industry and ensure competitive pricing on comparable products
- Build strategic partnerships with suppliers to determine cost and ensure order fulfillment
- Ensure quality assurance testing is performed for upcoming products to ensure they meet brand standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, sales, and logistics) to ensure execution

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years of product development experience in the cosmetic industry
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or other science-related discipline
- Strong understanding of project management, supply chain management and the retail industry
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial disposition
- Effective and quick problem-solver with a meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Located in or around Toronto
- Positive attitude with a willingness to tackle any task
- The desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Aligned with Voir’s mission and core values
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
