**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve deli items such as meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches according to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions accurately.
- Handle cash and perform cash handling duties with attention to detail.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and restocking as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and preparation.

**Requirements**:

- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory.
- Experience with POS systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling and food safety practices is preferred.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or deli setting is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $15.80 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
