POSITION OVERVIEW
The Customer Support Coordinator is responsible for providing high quality customer service to BDC Financing team in resolving basic issues, preparing customer proposals and all related documentation (e.g. letters of intent and contracts), obtaining necessary signatures and following up with customers. He/she also performs various administrative tasks and provides support to the team.
CHALLENGES TO BE MET- Provide excellent customer service to BDC clients in resolving basic client issues and inform higher levels of complex cases.- Responds quickly, accurately and professionally to existing and potential clients ensuring compliance with policies, procedures and practices.- Prepare letters to clients and professionals based on the specific process (e.g. Letter of Intent, Letter of Offer and Mandates to Professionals), and/or prepare proposals/contracts to clients ensuring that information is accurate and entered into our system, all necessary documents are prepared, required terms and forms are completed, signatures are obtained and follow up is completed.- Actively participate in portfolio development by identifying financing opportunities and developing innovative solutions that add value to meet client needs- Perform pre-qualification and risk rating activities for existing and potential BDC Financing customers and conduct initial customer interviews and other activities.- Proactively participate in branch marketing efforts by organizing events, campaigns and activities, preparing marketing communications and providing on-site logístical support.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR- Certificate or diploma of collegial studies in accounting or any other field deemed equivalent;- Ability to analyze and interpret financial statements is a major asset;- 2 to 4 years experience in a similar role;- Customer service oriented with a proven ability to show initiative in listening, identifying sales opportunities and resolving issues;- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and deal with a variety of situations at all times;- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines;- Team player, creative, flexible, collaborative and willing to work as part of a team;- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);- Bilingual in French and English.
