Host / Hostess / Server Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Host / Hostess / Server Assistant to join our team. As a support staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting our restaurant staff and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
**Duties**:
- Seat guests on arrival
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to tables promptly and efficiently
- Answer phone calls
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
- Refill water glasses and attend to guests' needs throughout their dining experience
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including wiping down tables and chairs
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cashier when needed
- Adhere to food safety standards and protocols at all times
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and service procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $15.20 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
