**Job Title**: Cleaner - Lead Hand
**Location**: Richmond Center - Richmond, BC
**Wage**: $20.38/hour
**Shift**: Monday to Friday 5:00AM - 1:30PM

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Perform cleaning duties and ensure facilities are cleaned to the best of the team’s ability
- Lead and coordinate the work of cleaners on shift
- Follow pre-set policies, guidelines, and rules to maintain a safe working environment.
- Inspect sites to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met
- Recommend and communicate to Supervisors to arrange for additional services as necessary
- Training new cleaning staff
- Provide excellent customer service to represent Alpine in professional manners.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as: auto scrubbers, carpet cleaners, high dusting equipment, Etc.
- Driving a tractor to haul garbage away
- Enhanced cleaning as per work orders when requested
- Additional tasks assigned by Manager

**You have**:

- A minimum of 2 years of cleaning experience in a commercial setting required
- Must hold a valid Driver’s License
- Experience operating a Tractor is considered an asset
- Experience operating an auto scrubber, carpet cleaner, and high dusting equipment is considered a strong asset, but not required
- Motivation and a willingness to work and learn
- Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift
- Ability to take initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with mínimal supervision
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine
- Must be able to pass a background check
