The new Lead Hand will provide exemplary leadership across his/her department during the Company’s day shift. The Lead Hand will report to the Company’s Production Manager.

**About You**
- Excellent leadership, motivational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team, facilitate effective meetings, and achieve success for multiple stakeholders
- Outcome focused, critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize, to ensure continuous improvement
- Strong operational background with an understanding of engineering design
- The ability to dig into the details to help troubleshoot and resolve issues

**Responsibilities**
- Lead, guide and direct area employees to achieve and sustain safety, productivity and quality goals
- Develop, oversee and enforce processes across the department
- Identify and provide resolution to any training, machine, material, or other issues that may affect safety, productivity and quality
- Accurately complete daily reporting requirements in a timely manner
- Seek out, implement, and share best practices within department to improve safety, productivity and quality
- Direct and participate in daily housekeeping duties for the area.
- Participate in daily production tasks
- Coordinate and participate in shift change communications to ensure total department success.

**Minimum Experience and Education**
- 1 year lead hand or leadership experience
- Experience in a woodworking and/or millwork business would be beneficial.
