**Location**: Hybrid, Vancouver, BC

**Salary**: $40 - $60 CAD/hour, depending on experience and skill set

**Start date**: As soon as possible

**About me, and the role**:
I am an established technology founder and executive currently growing a B2B SaaS company from Vancouver. I have a busy life outside of work and generally have a variety of projects on the go. I value community, equality, and learning to navigate work through a human-centered lens.

The purpose of this role is to assist me by taking on the general day-to-day tasks that often consume valuable time. By proactively handling these responsibilities, you'll enable me to fully focus on my work during the day and truly enjoy my free time without the need to worry about life admin. Your support will allow me to maintain a better work-life balance and approach my personal time with a sense of ease and relaxation.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Help make personal travel arrangements
- Own the Airbnb / guest support of my remote property, including managing the calendar and general administration for the listing
- Assist with the management and maintenance of the remote property by coordinating with the folks who work at the property, ensuring maintenance work is done and bills are paid. This will include revenue and expense management of the AirBnb listing.
- Help with day-to-day tasks of my home in Vancouver, including scheduling housekeeping, general maintenance, helping arrange grocery deliveries, etc.
- Aid in the prioritization of daily tasks and my long-term projects, ie community engagement
- Coordinate with my Executive Assistant for matters that may cross over or impact my working schedule

**Who you are**:

- You value honesty and openness so that we can discuss work and ideas with vulnerability and candor (while maintaining kindness and professionalism).
- You take a proactive approach to anticipating needs and handling unexpected tasks.
- You have a strong ability to manage complex schedules, appointments, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- You are _very_ detail-oriented; you read and re-read requirements, and you re-read and triple-check your work to ensure it is correct and meets requirements, allowing nothing to fall through the cracks
- You maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- You are comfortable meeting tight deadlines and managing urgent requests without sacrificing quality.
- You take initiative, think ahead, and manage tasks without constant supervision.
- You’re comfortable managing shifting priorities and unforeseen challenges.
- You are comfortable adapting to unexpected changes or requirements.
- You enjoy researching and can take a vague ask from me and turn it into detailed research, recommendations, and, when necessary, action.
- You’ll take the lead on starting new projects generated from discussed ideas that we may want to investigate
- You can make fast and independent decisions and can work well under time pressure when necessary
- You have a growth mindset - you seek and value feedback and are looking to learn, improve and grow

**Key Requirements**
- You must be located within Vancouver or Metro Vancouver
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are requirements of this role
- You must be legally permitted to work in Canada
- 5+ years in Personal or Executive Assistant experience would be beneficial

**How we will work together**
- Regular check-ins, daily at first and then altering in frequency as required. Some of these will take place in person to help facilitate a positive working relationship.
- Be proactive in identifying areas of improvement or ways you think you could positively impact my daily life, for example, by identifying tasks or errands that need to be done that I may not have considered.
- I would like to cultivate a mutual relationship that is open and respectful, where thoughtful and constructive feedback is shared and appreciated in a kind and considerate manner.

**What you’ll gain**:

- A flexible job that pays well, gives you autonomy in how and when you complete your work, and continual learning and growth.
- Mentorship and support from me relating to the work we do together, as well as other personal/professional goals you have outside of that.
- Support and encouragement in pursuing your own personal development and growth

**Application process**:

- An initial interview conducted by my EA, which may be held remotely or in person
- A second interview with myself, likely to be held remotely but possibility of in person
- A short trial period or extended take-home exercise, for which you will be compensated
- it is purposefully obfuscated. Applications received via Indeed will not be reviewed:
