**Overview**:
**As a HR Coordinator, you will**:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job postings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Maintain employee records.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in HR system.
- Support onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation and training.
- As well as support offboarding activities for employees.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Coordinate probationary and annual review activities and meetings.
- Prepare and process payroll on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and payroll in a timely manner and professional manner.
- Organize company events, activities, and recognition programs.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as required.
- Conduct background checks on new employees.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
**Key Qualifications**:
- Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum two years of human resources and recruitment experience required.
- Basic understanding of payroll systems and HR practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proactive and customer-oriented mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in reporting and financial analysis.
**Additional requirements**:
- Proof of education is required.
- Additional assessments may be conducted to evaluate competencies, skills and knowledge.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
