Administrative Support and Activations Coordinator

Vince’s Market is an independent grocery chain with locations in Sharon, Newmarket, Uxbridge and Tottenham, Ontario. The first Vince’s was established in Toronto in 1929, and since then we’ve built a strong reputation for fresh foods, personalized service, and great value.
- We are looking for someone to be the supportive energy that empowers our Human Resource and in-store event teams. The ideal person for this position will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and attention to detail. Experience working in an office environment, performing administrative duties and support is a benefit. Flexibility and foresight are important when taking on any challenge.
- Duties and Accountabilities:
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office and events-
- Carries out administrative duties such as filing, copying, and scanningMaintains inventory of supplies and materials-
- Ability to support with different processes-
- Assist in organizing and planning events internally and offsite-
- Be the onsite coordinator and Vince’s representative for internal and offsite events-
- Follows all Vince’s procedures and policies when coordinating and hosting events internally and offsite-
- Support in the execution of the Fresh Experience program onsite- Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma-
- Knowledge of appropriate software including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint-
- Professionalism and confidentiality with all materials-
- Self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented-
- Verbal and written communication skills-
- Flexible and willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge-
- Valid driver’s license- This position will provide approximately 20-30 hours per week, consisting of days, evening and weekends. Hours and days are dependent on scheduled events. It is a 6 month term contract with the opportunity to turn into a permanent role.
