At VRPlayin we wish to bring the joy of virtual reality to all. **The Work**:
We are looking for a part-time Customer Services Representative who is passionate about engaging with people and can communicate in a friendly and casual manner; responding not reacting to situations. Our team is knowledgeable and will always have your back. We aim to help you grow no matter the direction you plan to go.

Because you will be dealing with kids and adult-children on an individual level or as a group It's kind of important that you are comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative working environment, have an ‘act now, do it today’ attitude. This is not Hell's Kitchen... we got crazy moments but there's no Gordon Ramsay, just the occasional Uncle Roger.

**What you'll most likely be doing**:

- Provide guidance and support to customers
- Provide best-in-class customer service.
- Know all the store products and experiences inside and out.
- Help grow our customer base
- Assist in-store group and private event hosting and planning
- Promoting and marketing the business on social media
- Dealing with customer queries and complaints
- Preparing promotional materials and displays

**Kind of must-haves**:

- Be fluently in English
- Have previous customer service experience
- Be comfortable with technology and constant change
- Work well with others in a fast-paced environment
- Have excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task effectively with a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Able to react quickly in a fluid environment

**Nice to haves**:

- Sales, event planning and catering background
- An interest in the virtual reality industry
- IT literacy: Windows / Steam
- Smart Serve Certification
- G2/G license

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $15.00-$16.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Commission pay
- Overtime pay

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- On call

COVID-19 considerations:
We've been over the top about hygiene before covid was a thing. We intend to keep it that way. Your personal choices on the matter are your own. Staff must wear facemasks during events at the client/event organizer's explicit request.
