Who you are

Are you a diligent and organized professional with a passion for commercial real estate? We are seeking a versatile Lease Administrator to join our property management company specializing in commercial real estate. As a Lease Administrator, you will play a vital role in handling and administering lease agreements, ensuring compliance, and leading the lease ticketing system to support the accounting department.

What you bring- Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, or a related field (preferred).- Validated experience as a Lease Administrator or in a similar role within the commercial real estate industry.- Strong understanding of commercial real estate leasing practices, lease agreements, and legal terminology.- Proficiency in property management software and lease administration systems (e.g., Yardi).- Exceptional interpersonal skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.- High level of integrity and ethical conduct when handling critical lease and tenant information.

What success looks like- Produce lease proposals, offers to lease, lease agreements, amendments, and renewals.- Accurately process lease agreements, amendments, and renewals, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with legal and financial requirements.- Review and interpret lease terms and conditions to ensure adherence to established guidelines.- Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date lease database, tracking key lease dates, rent escalations, and other pertinent information.- Act as a liaison between property managers, accountants, and leasing agents to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide lease-related information.- Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure timely and accurate processing of rental payments and financial obligations.- Prepare and distribute lease-related documents, including tenant estoppel certificates, rent invoices, and operating expense reconciliations.- Conduct periodic audits of lease data to identify and resolve discrepancies or inconsistencies.- Assist in the preparation and review of lease abstracts, summaries, and reports for management and stakeholders (internal or external).
- Approximate Salary Range for Role: $51,088 to $76,632_
- Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training._
