**Position Summary**:
Under the direction of the Maitre’d is responsible for assisting servers to serve food in accordance with proper food service procedures, with an emphasis on presentation; cleaning and setting up the dining room between meals, washing dishes as required.

**Experience**:
Restaurant or Hotel Server experience with POS system.

**Education**:
*
- Must have a minimum Canadian grade 10 education or equivalent.
- Must be able to read, write and comfortably communicate in English.
- Must understand oral and written instructions.
- Must have the serving it right certificate
- Must be able to be trained in the safe handling of food and in proper food service procedures.
- Food Safe Level 1 certificate
- Serving it Right certificate

- Empathy for and understanding of the needs of seniors, their families and their professional service providers.
- Good health.
- No allergies to cleaning chemicals.
- Able to perform physical work, i.e. lifting, bending etc.
- Must have a pleasant, co-operative and supportive attitude.
- Willingness and ability to learn safe and courteous food service.

**Others**:
1. Must be free from communicable diseases.

2. Criminal Record Check

3. Able to work 7 am shift on Sundays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only
