**SUMMARY**

The Project & Reporting Analyst plays a dual role by supporting the successful execution of performance improvement projects while also designing and delivering business intelligence tools and analytics that enable data-driven decision-making across BGIS Professional Services..

**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Project Coordination**
- Plans and oversees the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects. At this level, projects managed are typically of moderate complexity, risk and exposure.
- In collaboration with internal clients, defines project scope, deliverables and requirements.
- Develops and implements project plans and schedules.
- Determines resource and budget requirements, cost estimates, and timelines.
- Monitors project delivery against timelines and ensures timely completion.
- Oversees the activities of project team members and monitors project task completion.
- Communicates project status to relevant concerned parties.

**Data Analysis & Reporting**
- Gathers, compiles, and maintains large datasets from internal systems and external sources.
- Creates and manages dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports using Power BI and other business intelligence tools.
- Ensures accuracy and consistency in data through rigorous validation processes.
- Conducts data analysis to support business cases, performance improvement initiatives, and client reporting needs.
- Identifies trends, anomalies, and opportunities for efficiency based on analytical outputs.
- Collaborates with other teams to support cross-functional data initiatives and projects.Supports automation and process improvement efforts through Power Automate, PowerApps, or similar tools when applicable.

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- Project management - proven ability and experience in delivering projects on-time, on-budget, within specifications and in-compliant with all requirements including but not limited to regulatory, environmental, health, and safety requirements.
- Exposure to reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau) and scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python), with experience developing dashboards and visualizations in Power BI
- Communication - strong communication, influence, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Relationship building - proven ability and experience in building and maintaining effective relationships
- Client service orientation - strong client service orientation
- Vendor management - proven ability and experience in managing vendor performance
- Quality - possesses a continuous improvement and quality mindset along with a desire to continuously seek and incorporate best practices and technologies in order to optimize program delivery and deliver value to the client
