**Summ Responsibilities**:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment and submit parts requisitions to the purchaser as needed
- Identify equipment deficiencies during disassembly for cleaning and sanitation.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install processing and packaging equipment.
- Perform repairs to building mechanical systems as required.
- Disassemble and reassemble production lines and start up equipment.
- Assist the sanitation team during the cleaning process.
- Provide production startup support.
- Participate in monthly preventative maintenance programs and maintain accurate records.
- Recommend and implement corrective actions and necessary repairs.
- Utilize the computerized maintenance management system (Hippo) to track and manage maintenance activities
- Experience in a light industrial/manufacturing environment is preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude combined with a basic understanding of electrical systems.
- Experience operating, assembling or repairing mechanical equipment
- Additional experience or certifications such as Power Engineer, Fabrication, Welding, Refrigeration and Controls is an asset.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
