**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency in meal preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage spaces.
- Adhere to food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Assist in the cooking process by preparing sauces, sides, and other components as needed.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety standards.

**Skills**
- Proficient in food preparation techniques and meal assembly.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry.
- Experience with food handling in a restaurant or similar environment is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures is advantageous.
