**Job Title: Prize Payout Representative - Sask Sport/Sask Lotteries**
**Type: Full-time, Term 12-months**
**Location: Regina**
We are seeking an energetic initiative-taker who has exceptional customer service skills with the ability to complete processes accurately and efficiently.
**Job Purpose**
The Prize Payout plays a crucial role within Sask Sport/Sask Lotteries, providing essential services for the Saskatchewan Lotteries Prize Payout Office (PPO) and Communications divisions. They will be accountable for handling responsibilities related to prize payout. Prepare and process claimant files, communicate with the public, liaise with external partners, and support communication projects.
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
- Acting as the first line of contact for the Sask Lotteries Prize Payout Office in Regina
- Processing a variety of levels and types of lotteries and VLT prize claims
- Interviewing major winners of lottery prizes of $10,000 and over
- Communicating with Western Canada Lottery Corporation regarding various prize claims
- Following up and investigating of prize claims as required
- Assisting customers with questions/concerns regarding their ticket
- Reviewing media releases and website graphics to ensure accuracy to prize claims
- Publishing media releases, graphics, and other items to the Sask Lotteries website
- Assisting with the coordination of media conferences and/or cheque presentations for millionaire winners
- Liaise and coordinate with winner(s), Western Canada Lottery Corporation and Sask Lotteries staff on dates/process for event
- Book facilities, order food, decorations, etc.
- Generating winners’ posters and arranging for distribution
- Opening/closing the Prize Payout Office
- Maintaining inventory of Prize Payout Office promotional items and supplies
- Other tasks as required
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and verbal skills
- Energetic initiative-taker with strong time management skills
- Strong organizational, time management and interviewing skills with attention to detail
- Communicate with tact, diplomacy, professional mannerism, sound judgment, and discretion
- Ability to analyze situation and use critical thinking and problem solving to make decisions in difficult situations
- Ability to communicate key messages in a clear, engaging, and appropriate manner.
- High degree of integrity and commitment to the organization’s brand.
- Maintain confidentiality of information and materials.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of and experience with Sask Lotteries or Western Canada Lottery Corporation products an asset
- Basic proficiency in website skills
- Positive attitude, creative thinker, willing to contribute to building a professional, fun, supportive, and dynamic team.
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Minimum two years customer service work experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent education and/or training.
**Working Conditions**
- Full-time - 37.5 hours per week (8:30am - 4:30pm, 30-minute lunch)
- Physical Environment - normal office environment, occasionally lifting items between 10 - 35lbs
- Overtime work may be necessary during busy periods
