We are looking for an **SEO Specialist** to join the team. Reporting to Director, Digital Platforms, you will be in charge to scale up our SEO practice across multiple Rogers brands: Rogers Consumer, Rogers Business, Fido, and Chatr. You will be responsible for developing, launching, and leading the implementation and optimization of the SEO strategy. You will leverage customer insights, channel performance, financial considerations, technology, and platform capabilities - to adapt and inform your recommendations. You are business-minded, strategic, analytical, and engineering knowledge and have in-depth knowledge of businesses, search and commerce technology.

**What you'll do**:

- Stay in touch with the latest search engine algorithm updates and best practices in our industry
- Perform detailed keywords research, analyze search trends and provide insights and opportunities that will lead to revenue generation
- Generate regular reports on SEO performance, attribution, and SEM savings
- Review and improve technical SEO issues, such as including site architecture, URL structures, core web vitals, and recommend fixes
- Collaborate across various teams to ensure new pages and projects are optimized for search from the moment of launch
- Support our content team for content ideation, development, design, and delivery
- Drive strategy, management, prioritization, and execution of KPI
- Audit, monitor, and improve the business performance of our websites
- Demonstrate how the actively managed website is contributing to funnel goals, with a focus on Conversion Rate Optimization and website effectiveness.
- Demonstrate how analysis informs spending and prioritization, deploy corrective remedies, and present findings and action plans regularly to senior stakeholders.
- Work with product and web development teams to drive SEO improvement roadmap across Rogers

**What you have**:

- 2+ years of experience SEO / organic search marketing experience
- Advanced understanding of SEO best practices - link building, HTML structure, URL patterns, content strategy, Core Web Vitals
- Experience working with tools
- Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
- BrightEdge or equivalent
- Google Search Console
- Google Lighthouse / Pagespeed tools
- Content Management System: Contentful or similar
- Ability to use data to drive SEO development roadmaps and recommendations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholdersUnderstanding of search engine algorithms, understanding of performance digital marketing, and paid search with organic search
- Fundamental understanding of underlying web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Server-Side Rendering, Content Management System
- Strong analytical/structured problem-solving skills
- Strong business acumen with proficient knowledge of online measurement and key performance indicators
- Experience working with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams
