We are looking for an experienced **Shop & Yard Worker** to join our team

**You have**:

- Complete Grade 12 or equivalent
- 3+ years experience in a similar role involving maintenance
- Valid Class G license with a clean abstract
- CVOR experience is an asset
- Experience using hand and power tools (drills, miter saw, panel saw, palm sander, etc.)
- Mechanically and electrically inclined
- Great communication skills, must be fluent in written and spoken English
- Highly adaptable, experience working in a fast-paced environment an asset
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work overtime, later shifts, and/or weekends if required to support the needs of the business
- Prior knowledge of construction and/or transportation repairs and/or maintenance an asset
- Willing and able to drive company vehicle

**As a Shop & Delivery Worker, you will**:

- Perform minor maintenance, cleaning, and repairs to company trucks (lights, gate latches, radios, etc.), and equipment (arrow boards, sign stands, general sign maintenance), and tools (ratchet straps, etc.) as needed
- Provide general housekeeping of yard and shop, including sweeping, taking out garbage, recycling, organizing equipment,
- Shuttle vehicles, equipment (TC-12, PVMS board, temporary traffic lights, signs, etc.), and materials (oil, antifreeze, coolant, transmission fluid, etc.) to other shop locations or job sites as needed; may require towing a trailer
- Monitor supply levels & refresh supplies as needed (oil, antifreeze, cleaning & sanitizing agents, etc.)
- Advise the Depot Manager of low supplies inventory, shop conditions and hazards (eg, potholes), in a timely manner to maintain workflow
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies, including safe work policies at all times
