**Position Description**
Join a dynamic team dedicated to public protection and the promotion of ethical and professional practice. The College is looking for a highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a regulatory body to join its rapidly growing staff.
The position will work remotely in a hybrid model based on position responsibilities, coming into the office as required.
**Specific Duties and Responsibilities**
The Registration Coordinator will:
- Responsible for tracking members registered with terms, conditions and limitations for supervised practice. Sends reminder letters. Cancels certificates.
- Enters and updates notes on public register including terms, conditions and limitations and re-issue dates.
- In conjunction with the Registration Manager, provides support to the Registration Appeals Committee. This includes preparing communication to applicants, preparing documents to assist Committee in review, maintaining statistical information related to RAC, recording minutes at Committee meetings.
- In conjunction with the Registration Manager, establishes policies, practices, and procedures regarding timely communication with applicants. Develop and maintain procedural manuals for registration processes. Create guides and reference materials to assist staff in change management.
- Undertakes project management as requested by Registration Manager, Deputy Registrar, or Registrar. Undertakes and coordinates broad based projects as assigned. Prepares reports. Designs charts and graphs as required.
- Have a university degree or a post-secondary diploma in office administration or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A degree or diploma in Social Work or Social Service Work is preferred.
- Have a minimum three years’ experience in an office environment.,
- Have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, with experience in Word, Excel, Adobe.
- Be able to learn new and computer software (training will be provided).
- Be able to work independently and to contribute as an integral member of the Registration Team.
- Be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; responding to changing and/or conflicting timelines or urgent matters as they arise.
- Have a positive attitude, pro-active work ethic, and demonstrated commitment to providing a helpful customer service experience.
- Demonstrated Leadership/Mentorship qualities as triaging inquiries/consults will be required.
- Excellent written and oral communication/interpersonal skills including diplomacy and tact - for interactions with colleagues, Registration Appeals Committee members, applicants, registrants, etc.
- Be able to meet departmental benchmarks.
- Be able to problem solve and support multi-tasking with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to present information in a concise and objective manner.
**Fluency in written and oral French will be considered a strong asset.**
**Compensation and Benefits**
- Target hiring salary range is between **$70,000 and 85,000** annually.
- The College office is located in downtown Toronto **(close to parking and the subway)**
