Applications are invited for the position of Administrative Assistant, to the Associate Dean, School of Nursing and PSW Studies in the Health Studies Division, located at the Welland Campus. The salary range is $26.21 /hr to $30.39 /hr (Pay Band E) for a 35-hour work week. Additional hours may be required as necessary.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Providing administrative support to the Associate Dean by resolving or triaging routine enquiries/concerns from students, staff, and public
- Managing and updating the Associate Dean’s schedule including scheduling of meetings and events
- Organizing and maintaining records including confidential personal files related to staff and students
- Record keeping and monitoring purchase requisitions
- Supporting the Associate Dean with inputting and organizing work assignments, scheduling requirements, related reports, and operational human resource functions
- Overseeing office supplies and equipment maintenance and operation
- Organizing meetings including distribution of agenda, advance reading material, minutes, etc.

**Qualifications**:

- Two (2) year diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or similar field of study
- Minimum three (3) years practical experience in office administration in an educational, government, or large business environment
- Demonstrated communication, organizational, problem solving and prioritizing skills
- Proven abilities in working independently, exercising initiative and good judgement, sensitivity, and confidentiality
- Strong customer service and public relations skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
