**JOB SUMMARY**

The Assistant Controller will ensure the planning and coordination of all payable and receivable accounts activities. We are looking for an organized person to participate in the different stages of the full accounting cycle.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will create and implement accounting processes and you will collaborate with other teams to help position Frank And Oak as the leader in the sustainable fashion industry.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Supervise, plan and coordinate the day-to-day work of the accounting team
- Establish and manage the priorities and deadlines of the team
- Participate in the full accounting cycle of accounts payables and receivables and monthly closings processes
- Participate in the preparation of documents required for year-end audits and audits
- Participate in the development, implementation and improvement of financial controls
- Identify opportunities for improvement, propose solutions and set up processes
- Act as a resource person for team members

**WHO YOU ARE**
- A genuinely nice human being
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role
- Diploma in accounting
- Bilingualism mandatory (English and French), written and spoken
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (this is essential)
- Structured, outstanding organizational skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong sense of initiative and resourcefulness
- Autonomy, attention to detail and rigour
- Team player
- Experience in the retail and/or e-commerce sector (an asset)
- Knowledge of NetSuite software (an asset)

**APERÇU DU POSTE**

L'assistant(e) contrôleur assurera la planification et la coordination de toutes les activités liées aux comptes payables et recevables. Nous cherchons une personne structurée qui participera aux différentes étapes du cycle comptable complet.

Relevant du contrôleur, vous aurez à créer et mettre en place des processus comptables et à collaborer avec les autres équipes dans le but de contribuer à positionner Frank And Oak comme le leader mondial dans l’industrie du vêtement écoresponsable.

**VOS RESPONSABILITÉS**
- Superviser, planifier et coordonner le travail quotidien des membres de l’équipe comptable;
- Établir et gérer les priorités et les échéanciers de l’équipe;
- Participer au cycle comptable complet des payables et des recevables ainsi qu’aux clôtures mensuelles;
- Participer à la préparation des documents requis pour les audits et vérifications de fin d’année;
- Participer à l’élaboration, à la mise en place et à l’amélioration des contrôles financiers;
- Identifier les opportunités d’amélioration, proposer des solutions et mettre en place des processus;
- Agir à titre de personne-ressource pour les membres de l’équipe.
