**1. Job description**

The role of the Production Supervisor is to be managing and monitoring of manufacturing operations in Vancouver site. In addition, he coordinates the activities of his team members and trains them in quality criteria.

**2. REQUIREMENTS**

Ø Comply with the applicable Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations in the plant.

Ø Follow company policies.

Ø Follow quality protocol

**3. Tasks**

Ø Plan resources according to the production schedules to be made.

Ø Responsible for all required reports on his/her shift (Production formulas, sanitation form according to the Quality program, Pre-operational QC, etc.).

Ø Responsible for enforcing company standards, policies and procedures (OHS, Quality, Schedule, overtime, training, etc.).

Ø Produce production and performance evaluation reports (KPI).

Ø Make recommendations on the organization of production, the equipment used, work methods, labor, raw materials.

Ø Check the safety of equipment and production areas before and after operations.

Ø Identify and resolve issues that may affect the smooth running of production.

Ø Welcome and integrate new employees (inform, train, etc.).

Ø Communicate information to employees related to the proper functioning of production operations.

Ø Develop team spirit among staff. Motivate, encourage employees.

Ø Participate in problem solving.

Ø Raise awareness and train staff on the importance of quality and make them aware of the costs associated with non-quality.

Ø Make employees responsible for quality criteria and follow-up of non-conformities.

Ø Determine and analyze the causes of product releases.

Ø Correct production steps so that the product meets established quality standards.

Ø Collaborate in the maintenance and monitoring of the Quality program.

Ø Enforce OHS rules.

Ø Intervene in the event of a work accident and participate in the investigation and analysis of workplace accidents.

Ø Submit security measures.

Ø Any other related tasks.

**4. Requirements**

Ø College degree in science or business or related field

Ø Min 3 to 4 years of experience in manufacturing & supervision.

Ø Experience in food or pharma industries is an asset.

**DESIRED QUALITIES**: Leadership, Initiative, autonomy, judgment, rigor, ability to work in a team, sense of responsibility, reliability.
