**Job Summary**

The Dry Cleaning Production Supervisor oversees daily operations within the dry cleaning plant, ensuring high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing a team, monitoring workflow, maintaining equipment, and implementing safety protocols.

**(All training will be provided)**

Key Responsibilities:
**Supervision & Leadership**:

- Lead and supervise production staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and high morale.

**Operational Oversight**:

- Oversee the dry cleaning process from intake to finished product, ensuring timely and accurate service.
- Coordinate daily workflow, assigning tasks and managing priorities to meet production goals.
- Ensure all garments are handled and cleaned according to industry standards and customer specifications.

**Quality Control**:

- Conduct regular inspections to maintain high-quality cleaning standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues related to production.

**Equipment & Maintenance**:

- Monitor and maintain all dry cleaning equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repairs, coordinating with vendors as necessary.

**Inventory Management**:

- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and other materials.
- Order and restock items as needed to avoid production delays.

**Compliance & Safety**:

- Implement and enforce safety protocols and ensure all staff comply with industry regulations.
- Conduct regular safety training and drills.
- Ensure compliance regarding the handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals.

**Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and implement process improvements.
- Assist in budget preparation and cost control measures.

**Production Duties**:
**(Oversee and Assist as required)**
- Sort clothing
- Inspect garments for cleaning instructions
- Prepare loads for drycleaning and laundry
- Scan and hang garments after cleaning
- Operate drycleaning machine
- Operate laundry machines
- Perform weekly cleaning maintenance for machines
- Ensure garments are completed by promised due date
- Remove and resew buttons and perform minor repairs such as fixing holes or small rips
- Assist the production team with daily tasks
- Assist with Monitoring quality and production levels
- carefully inspecting finished garments to ensure that our high-quality standards are met

**Experience**
- basic computer skills
- high school diploma
- previous customer service and management experience

**Pay**
- $23/hour - training wage
- $23-$28/hour based on your proven success in the job
- Medical and dental coverage available at end of successful probation period

**Job Type**: full-time, 35-40 hours/week, shifts vary between Monday to Saturday

**Vacation**: Two weeks’ vacation after 1 year of full time hours

**Language**: Fluent English - verbal and written

**Location**: North Vancouver

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
