A young woman living in Ajax is looking for a passionate and caring person to join her amazing team. You will use your skills to ensure that this vibrant, socially aware and youth positive woman receives the highest quality support and personal care. She is looking for someone who can deliver support with compassion, excellence, and reliability, in the comfort and safety of her family’s home.**

We are looking for an easygoing and fun loving, fashion forward individual that can enrich the life of a 34-year-old woman. The support worker will provide part time support to this woman and aid her in exploring new opportunities to make lively personal connections while attending her personal care.

This position would be best suited for a support worker looking for reliable part-time work hours of approximately 7 hours per week. These hours will be from:
7:30-8:30 pm Monday-Sunday

Some of these may be negotiable.

Occasionally there may be opportunity to work an hour some evenings as well.

In this role, you will support this woman by engaging her in conversation about your day, what you did on the weekend, and more. She would love to learn about you. She is a total fashionista and well as having a great sense of wry humour. She is very immersed in youth culture and fashion. She has a large, loving family and is up to date on music and online culture.

You will work within an ethical practice framework while embracing the principles of inclusion and strive to create an environment that encourages good community and personal connection.

We would like to employ someone who enjoys conversing and sharing their thoughts and experiences.

Key Requirements:

- Completion of Vulnerable Sector Police check.
- You must have Personal Liability Insurance.
- This role will involve completing a daily communication log, as well as being aware of COVID safety regulations and avoiding unsafe situations for the virus at this time. Communication ability and awareness of COVID safety is a must.
- Personal Support Certificate.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Reliability is a key with this position.

Assets:

- You must be a fun spirited individual who enjoys youth culture and fashion.
- Knowledge of dealing with care of a person with a disability.

Hourly Pay:

- 26.50 dollars per hour.
