**Role: Food and Beverage Attendant - St. Jacobs Farmers' Market**

Interested in becoming a Colossal Onionista? We’re excited to be entering into our third season at the St. Jacobs Farmer's Market and we're looking for food-minded individuals to join the Colossal Onion team

**Hours of Operation**:
Tuesdays: 8:00am - 3:00pm

Thursdays & Saturdays: 7:00am - 3:30pm

**Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:

- Deliver exemplary customer service to all customers from start to finish, upholding Colossal Onion plating and food quality standards
- Cook and plate food
- Experience with deep fryers an asset
- Monitor and restock supplies at all service stations
- Prepare food for service (mixing batter, preparing sauces, peeling onions, etc.)
- Comply with provincial health and safety standards and regulations at all times
- End of day duties (dishes, restocking, sanitizing work stations, discarding leftover food, etc.)
- Maintain a professional and positive approach with coworkers and customers at all times

**Qualifications**:

- Food service/hospitality experience
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling practices (Food Handler Certification an asset)
- Ability to work efficiently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Positive team player
- Professional, punctual and organized demeanor
- Saturday availability is mandatory

**Job Type**: Part-time, Permanent
