We're looking for a dynamic Food & Beverage Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values excellence, and can lead a team to deliver consistently outstanding guest experiences.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for the smooth operation of all food and beverage services. The role focuses on team leadership, quality assurance, cost control, guest satisfaction, and ensuring the highest operational standards are consistently met.
What You'll Be Doing
Think of yourself as the ultimate host, coach, and problem-solver rolled into one. You'll:
· Supervise daily food and beverage operations, maintaining efficient service and high-quality standards.
· Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to uphold exceptional customer service.
· Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and bar team to provide exceptional service.
· Manage inventory levels, monitor costs, and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
· Oversee staff scheduling, ensuring labour costs remain within targets without compromising service quality.
· Maintain compliance with Ontario's food safety, health, and liquor regulations.
· Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and conflict resolution with professionalism and care.
· Ensure all restaurant areas are clean, organized, and presentation-ready at all times.
· Assist in planning and executing private events, group functions, and promotions.
· Monitor operational performance, implementing process improvements where needed.
· Foster a positive and accountable team culture rooted in respect, collaboration, and service excellence.
Qualifications
· Minimum of 2 years of management or supervisory experience with a full service and structured dining establishment.
· Proven track record in leading teams within high-volume, casual-upscale environments.
· Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
· Proficiency in POS and restaurant management systems.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
