**Job Profile: Bar Manager**

The Saskatoon Club is seeking a passionate and dedicated Bar Manager who shares our vision of being the preferred meeting place for Saskatoon’s influential and business community leaders. Reporting to the Clubhouse Manager, the Bar Manager will lead the Food and Beverage team, manage front-of-house operations, and have the opportunity to shape the club's beverage offerings. In this role, you’ll inspire a talented team, elevate the member experience, and contribute to the ongoing growth and creativity of our renowned establishment.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- **Elevate Member Experience**: Serve our distinguished members as a key part of the Front of House team, ensuring every visit is memorable.
- **Lead and Inspire**: Train and mentor bartenders and service team members, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.
- **Operational Leadership**: Oversee floor management, table touches, and provide strong leadership to ensure seamless service and high standards.
- **Innovative Programming**: Create and implement exciting bar programs, including crafting unique cocktails and curating a premium selection of spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- **Inventory and Procurement**: Manage ordering and inventory for all bar-related products, ensuring quality and availability.
- **Standard Operating Excellence**: Uphold and enhance food and beverage controls and standard operating procedures.
- **Event Collaboration**: Assist with the setup and teardown of events, contributing to the overall success and smooth execution of club functions.
- **Creative Contributions**: Drive the creativity and growth of the club by developing weekly features, promotions, and new initiatives.
- **Community Leadership**: Represent the club as a leader in excellence within the community.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field is an asset.
- **Certification**: Certified Sommelier designation is a valuable asset.
- **Experience**: 4+ years in food and beverage, with at least 1 year of experience leading a team.
- **Skills**: Proficiency with POS systems, MS Office, and OpenTable. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- **Certifications**: Serve It Right and Food Safe certifications are required.

**Requirements**:
This is a full-time position with varying hours depending on club events and demand. A clear criminal background and credit check are required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
