**The Opportunity**:
The Technical Program Manager is responsible for the delivery of operational and strategic projects and system-wide initiatives to enable, advance, and scale OpenText’s Cloud business and operations. This role is for a technical program management leader who can define, implement, oversee, and optimize scalable processes to streamline delivery and deliver positive outcomes for initiatives that require cross-functional team alignment across OpenText.

OpenText is looking for a Technical Program Manager with large-scale Cloud/SaaS project expertise. The Technical Program Manager is responsible for managing concurrent programs/projects. They are also responsible for the timely delivery of quality project outputs while performing appropriate scope management. The role will manage the overall timeline for the project, manage issues and risks, and communicate project status to project sponsors and upper management. The Technical Program Manager has strong leadership, excellent communication, and “hands-on” program/project management skills, as well as proficiency in motivating and leading others through vision, strategic positioning, and leadership characteristics.

The role collaborates with other functional project management offices and other corporate leaders including Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance and HR to ensure high performance and to promote the alignment of initiatives toward the achievement of strategic results.

The role will work with the Head of PMO, Cloud to prioritize and implement the vision of the organization, being responsible for timely delivery of quality project outputs while performing appropriate scope management. This position requires strong leadership, a solution-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset, excellent communication, and “hands-on” program management and business operation skills.

The Technical Program Manager provides a single point of contact for programs/projects and will take programs/projects from the original concept through final implementation. They will facilitate the definition of program scope and objectives with teams and oversee/coordinate all aspects of the program/project scope, plan and direct schedules, and monitor program/project budgets. They will provide Agile management for the teams to develop an iterative, continuous approach to project delivery and team workflows.

**You are great at**:

- Is Accountable for the successful launch and delivery of new, key OpenText Cloud initiatives/programs/projects (e.g., expanding and scaling the OT Cloud footprint, including new capabilities and certifications, launching new Cloud-ready service offerings, etc.).
- Helps team achieve program/project goals while partnering with Cloud Operations Product Managers on overall business objectives
- Helps create, populate, automate, and manage metrics dashboards on an ongoing basis, identifying and following through data-driven business and operational improvement opportunities
- Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, dependency tracking and status reports to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Provides insightful analyses on the efficiency, quality, and economics of CSD’s operation based on data, identifying data gaps, requirements validations and working with stakeholders to fill those gaps
- Interfacing with peers in other teams as well as their leaders, including Engineering, Cloud Operations, Product Management, Professional Services, and Customer Support
- Recommends/takes action to direct the analysis of and solution to problems
- Provides visibility to team impediments/risks and helps eliminate them
**What It takes**:
**Education**:

- Minimum BS CS or equivalent experience
- PMP Certification required
- GCP Certifications a plus
**Experience Required**:

- 10+ years of IT or Software industry experience for a global, high-tech environment, with at least 5 years in a technical program management position

Proven track record of successful project/program management of complex, cross-functional, large implementations
- 5+ years of experience as a software developer

**Required Knowledge**
Multiple program and project management methodologies (Agile. Hybrid, waterfall), BI and collaboration tools (Atlassian, etc.)
**Skills and Abilities**:

- Results and solutions-oriented, program/project management of several concurrent projects for enterprise software and technology industries
- Passionate about winning in the Cloud business/industry. Experience with Cloud-based SaaS products and infrastructure
