**About the job**:
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with developers.

Our goal is to build a Google that looks like the world around us — and we want Googlers to stay and grow when they join us. As part of our efforts to build a Google for everyone, we build diversity, equity, and inclusion into our work and we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging throughout the company.

The AR (Augmented Reality) Team is helping build immersive computing. Through our ARCore platform, we enable augmented reality experiences. The team works in a fast paced, highly innovative, and fluid environment and is engaged with both external and internal partners to achieve our goals.

The Google Augmented Reality team is a diverse group of experts tasked with building the foundations for great immersive computing and building helpful, delightful user experiences. We're focused on making immersive computing accessible to billions of people through mobile devices, and our scope continues to grow and evolve.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage multiple complex projects in the domains of Custom Silicon Software, Display Embedded systems, and OS system software, working with multiple cross-functional teams.
- Own the technical relationships with cross-functional vendors and partners, working closely with Development teams across both Hardware and Software, to drive towards on-time delivery of commitments with high quality.
- Drive overall program execution, unblock roadblocks, manage issues, manage escalations, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies in an ambiguous and fluid environment, while ensuring clear communication across all stakeholders.
- Develop domain and technical knowledge at the architecture level and propose technical alternatives when necessary. Develop and drive system validation plans and data-driven product development schedules with well-defined milestones, dependencies, and budgets.
- Drive consensus across the team on topics (i.e., Key Performance Indicators, timelines, etc.). Present final recommendations to executive leadership, enabling program decisions.
