Bookkeeper/administrative Assistant

Preferred - knowledge of Sage 50 but can be trained for the right individual.
- Creating purchase orders, receiving goods, reviewing vendor invoices, entering into Sage 50, preparing cheques to be signed, and mailing out cheques to vendors.
Enter Visa statement and monitor expenses.
- Take supply inventory of office and kitchen supplies and order accordingly for pick up.
Learn to run payments from customers and assist with that as needed.
- Take instruction from production meetings to create work orders to build product for customers and stock inventory. Work with lead hands to monitor production releases to control flow through the shop and finish dates. Other various release tasks.
- Maintain a Master Retail spreadsheet by working with a lead hand to take their inventory counts and enter them into the system, ensuring accuracy. Record web sales and production pack outs into Master Retail.
- Entering orders into the Master Retail to create pick slips to be packed by a lead hand.
Various other office projects to assist the Vice President in daily operations.
Be a back up to pay bills or make deposits at the bank.
Assist in keeping an organized filing system.
Could develop into a full-time position.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
