**ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT, NL INLAND OPERATIONS**
**St. John’s Terminal**
We are currently searching for a dynamic **Administrative Assistant **to join our NL Inland Operations Department. Reporting to the Manager, NL Inland Operations, the elected person will act as a primary contact for customer service, ensure freight is booked for specific voyages and that all bills of lading are entered correctly. He/she will also confirm that all westbound freight is coded to proper destination, provide computer support and training for new employees, prepare weekly and monthly report for operations and completion of weekly truckers’ payroll.
**Tasks and responsibilities**
- Assist in the booking of Westbound and south bound movements, ensuring that all freight has been booked to load specific voyages. Master Bookings for LTL
- Maintain records of same and forward documents, for example: dangerous goods, in bond and documents for invoicing to appropriate department and scan BOL’s
- Complete and input Driver’s payroll on a weekly basis
- Preparation of monthly Operations reports. Includes Drivers daily worksheets, Fuel, Driver Productivity
- Review daily all Wal-Mart detentions reports and prepare response for Wal-Mart
- Review and adjust weekly Demurrage reports and forward to Terminal Manager & invoicing
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Post secondary education or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the transportation industry
- Computer literate.
