**Business Overview**:
BNP Paribas’ Financial Institutions Coverage division (FIC) is a product-neutral group dedicated to the coverage of financial institutions (Large Pension Funds, Banks, insurance companies, asset managers and governments). FIC is specifically in charge of:

- Managing client relationships on a global basis
- Identifying new industry trends and related client needs
- Working closely with our product specialists in delivering tailored solutions to our clients across the full product suite (debt capital markets, derivatives, transactional banking, advisory and structured solutions)
- Establishing and nurturing regular contacts at all levels of the client organization in order to develop long term business relationships

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop an in-depth knowledge of all portfolio clients and their respective industry sub-segment.
- Develop product/organizational knowledge applicable to the client portfolio.
- Provide regular updates on industry, company specific developments and market events.
- Prepare FIC Briefing memos, support memos for Senior meetings and annual reviews
- Use or build financial models
- Run RAROC models and prepare RAC memos
- Actively work on new transactions with product partners.
- Support in review of financial and Ratings information relating to our clients and the sectors in which they operate.
- Provide revenue summaries including budget preparation and monitoring of ongoing results
- Work with senior bankers and Risk/credit team in preparation of annual reviews and committee preparation and support
- Source, retrieve and analyze internal and external research and incorporate into marketing materials
- Prepare pre-meeting briefing materials, attend client meetings when possible, and be actively involved in follow up discussions
- Actively contribute to all special projects
- Actively support FIC business and work closely with relevant teams in the coordination and follow through on KYC, DD and Compliance

**Required Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Undergraduate degree.

**Experience**:

- 1 to 3 year experience in the financial industry.
- Credit / Risk experience or fundamentals would be an asset
- Global Bank experience would be an asset
- Knowledge or experience in any of the FIC client sectors would be an asset.

Technical Knowledge:

- Knowledge of financial analysis techniques.
- Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Capacity to write reports, analyze, summarize, argue and take position.
