**OVERVIEW**

The Corporate Finance Analyst measures financial performance and asset value for development projects, acquisitions, and operational sites using complex financial models. The incumbent also supports funding management and cash management.

**REPORTING RELATIONSHIP**

The analyst reports to Kruger Energy's Corporate Finance Manager. He/she will also have a functional relationship with Kruger Energy's Chief Financial Officer and will be expected to work closely with him.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Builds financial models for development projects and acquisitions under consideration and works closely with the development team.
- Ensures that the financial models of operational sites are kept up to date.
- Prepares presentations and other communication tools for external and internal stakeholders, including financial reports related to major project investments.
- Provides support for the review of acquisition opportunities and due diligence process.
- Participates in the monthly reviews of development and M&A opportunities that are presented to the Energy Committee.
- Gathers the necessary data and prepares summaries financial and operating information on companies and on the industry.
- Supports the execution of financing transactions.
- Monitors and optimizes cash management in collaboration with accountants.
- Maintains a good knowledge of the renewable energy industry, of available financing structures and of technologies used in the market.
- Takes on multiple projects simultaneously and works effectively, both individually and as part of the team.
- Handles other projects/mandates for the CFO.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- University degree in Business Administration/Commerce, Finance or Accounting
- A minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in M&A and capital raising processes
- Dexterity and in-depth knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Financial modeling Skill
- Understanding of the renewable energy industry is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to deal with colleagues at all levels, at production sites, at head office and with representatives of financial institutions
- Bilingualism essential
