A.L. Blair Construction group is a multifaceted construction company involved in the supply of aggregates, ready mix concrete, hot mix asphalt, real estate development and heavy civil construction services. The company is currently recruiting an Accounts Receivable Clerk that capable of handling a large number of receivable transactions with accuracy.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ability to enter a substantial number of receivable transactions into automated accounting system on a biweekly basis.
- Work with management and sales personnel to gather correct pricing for various jobs and customers.
- Communicate effectively with customers.
- Answer calls and redirect them to the appropriate personnel.
- Monthly Reconciliation of receivables to plant and quarry reports to determine if all quantity’s have been invoiced.
- Provide various reports to management.
- Produce quotes for estimating department.
- Monitor ongoing projects and produce job costing reports.

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**:

- Over 3 years experience in a medium to large sized company working in an accounts receivable.
- General knowledge of accounting and basic bookkeeping.
- Experience in performing multiple roles with optimal efficiency.
- Must be a team player capable of working with others and possess strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks.
- College diploma in accounting or other related discipline would be considered an asset.
