Department Overview Reporting to the Team Lead, Demand Planning, the primary responsibility of the Demand Planner will be the creation of a global demand plan that supports our sales objectives while minimizing stock outs and excess inventories.
**Job Description**:
In this role you will
Lead monthly S&OP process to drive alignment between Product Management, Finance and Sales on an unconstrained demand plan
Develop a SKU level demand plan that supports financial objectives
Maintain clear communication with Supply Planning on demand alignment and have a complete understanding of supply constraints impacting your product portfolios
Collaborate with Product Management, Project Management and NPI teams on NPI launches to define key considerations and milestone dates related to Supply Chain to ensure launch date readiness for new product and mínimal inventory exposure on phase out product
Accountable to monitor demand changes related to product transitions, identify potential risks, drive mitigation actions to ensure mínimal inventory exposure
Monitor backlog and provide recommendations on options to fulfill customer demand
Accountable to ensure MRP drive is accurate and in accordance with the plan
Collaborate with Inventory planning to mitigate E&O
Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**:
Minimum 3 years prior experience in a similar planning role
Bachelors Degree in BusinessSupply Chain required
Strong communication skills required written, verbal and presentation
Strong computer skills and Advanced Level Excel are required
Strong analytical skills required
Working knowledge of ERP systems, within a manufacturing environment required
SAP experience preferred
Ability to take on new challenges
Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment required while maintaining focus and a high degree of accuracy
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations
Excellent organization, time management, and followup skills
Ability to take initiative and exercise excellent judgment
Basic Requirements
Bachelors Degree
Minimum 3 years prior experience in a similar planning role
