Fitness World is a new company and ownership group. We’re currently recruiting for a Financial Planning Analyst to lead these functions.

Reporting to the VP of Finance, and working alongside the Senior Accountant and Accountant this position will analyze financial activities and transactions, and provide advice and guidance to our executive management team. The primary responsibility of this position is to enable company leaders to achieve the company’s goals and objectives through sound decision making.

**Responsibilities**:

- Produce and analyze company financial results (for example KPIs, margins, pricing, sales results, etc.), and provide insights and recommendations to improve performance
- Prepare monthly bonus & commission calculations, weekly cash flow projections and various operations reports
- Prepare various monthly and ad hoc financial reports and interpret information pertaining to the performance and profitability of the company
- Support various departments in the development and execution of strategy, projects and initiatives
- Understand company key performance indicators and action plan to improve these metrics
- Lead and manage company budget and forecast activities in conjunction with department managers
- Maintain the financial health of the company; provide projections and trends of finances
- Prepare financial models for cost-reduction and growth opportunities
- Additional duties may be assigned

**Education & Experience**:

- BA and/or MA in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Professional qualification (for example, CPA or CFA)
- Previous experience as a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst; and in a multi-unit environment is preferred
- Advanced Excel user
- Extensive understanding of accounting principles and KPIs
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

**Salary**: $42,145.00-$136,774.00 per year
