We believe in the idea that you can come to work, and help make the world a better place in the same day. **Critical Outcomes From the Job** - **Oversee master production scheduling by**: - Manage Master Schedulers and Supply Planner. - Reviews manufacturing capacity planning with Supply Planner to define line utilization. - Analyzing data from the sales forecast and ensuring master schedulers follow a clear and robust process to develop ongoing production plans with the highest service at the lowest cost. - Oversee the budget process for lbs produced with Supply - Supervises the efforts of the planners reviewing shortage reports to assist in the determination of scheduling priorities, provides guidance and facilitates approvals when special measures are required to expedite production, purchasing and/or transportation - Ensures a timely and actionable materials plan (MRP) is delivered to the buying team. - Liaises with purchasing to resolve gaps between supply and operational - * **Lead a reliable demand planning/forecasting process by**: - Leads business unit's demand planning processes and ensures delivery of cross-functional consensus forecasts to support production scheduling plans and the achievement of customer service, inventory and operational KPls. - Provides information to upper level management so they will be aware of present and potential resourcing challenges (capacity and materials) along with recommendations resolving potential issues. - Works with Product Management to understand New Product Introduction (NPI) and End of Sale product transitions to seamlessly phase-in or phase-out within operations with mínimal risk (e.g., resource, inventory, and capacity). Mitigates exposure to raw material and finished goods obsolescence costs. - **Oversee and lead the S&OP process by**: - Leading the Pre-SOP and SOP monthly meetings that encompass Supply and - Hold respectful parties accountable for their actions to ensure the process yields the desirable - Raise potential gaps in the process where Sales and Ops need to be involved to ensure - Create targets around OTIF, Clearance, donations etc. - Understand how we use the S&OP process to drive accurate production - Leads cross functional team meetings to ensure the decisions being made by the group considers the feedback from the other departments. - Work with Supply Planner on populating the IFS demand planning module to create the annual demand plan for organization allowing other key stakeholders to build their budgeting plans. - The description above represents the most significant essential duties of the job but does not e_x_clude others_ **_Qualifications and Experience_** **Education** - Bachelor's Degree preferably Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or Supply Chain - Advanced degree, MS and/or MBA in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing/Procurement, or Logistics - APICS certification **Experience** - 5 years of demand planning experience OR equivalent education and professional work experience. - At least 3 years of related production experience - 2-3 years of supervisory experience - ERP/MRP experience with Tier One product: SAP, IFS, Oracle or JDEdwards - Lean and Pull environment background, preferably in Demand Flow principles and practices - Demonstrated ability to influence management, teams and individuals - Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts - Experience with Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) best practices - Demonstrated experience working with a high demand retail/distributor preferred - Results oriented with ability to react to situations with a sense of urgency_ **_Notification to Applicants: _**_We are committed to providing an accessible environment and ensuring fairness throughout our hiring process.
