**Key responsibilities will include**:
As Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible to provide leadership, coordination and management to oversee the human resources, safety and reception functions and processes, from recruitment through hiring, onboarding, compensation management, performance development (training, mentoring, succession planning), while championing a safe work environment, a strong company culture and positive employee morale.
- College Certificate or a University Degree in Human Resources is preferred.
- Minimum of five years of progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist capacity.
- CPHR designation is considered an asset.
- Understanding of HR best practices, policies, procedures, and current employment/labor laws.
- Knowledge of WCB, OH&S and safety legislation.
- Demonstrated ability to develop policy and direct and coordinates human resources activities, such as recruitment, employment, compensation, employee relations, benefits, training, succession planning and employee services.
- Thorough knowledge of policy, procedures and programs to develop, administer and support a successful performance development program.
- 8. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, integrity, and teamwork. Exude confidence and a cheerful disposition.
- Completes and leads others to complete, high quality work in accordance with company procedures.
- Critical thinker, capable of juggling multiple tasks simultaneously, thriving in a complex environment and accountable for all assignments, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a confidential capacity with a high level of professionalism.
- Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Applications.
- Knowledge of a fabrication and/or manufacturing and/or construction environment.
- Occasional travel may be required.

- Human resources: 5 years (required)
