Vretta-Lyryx is looking for an Account Manager for Academic Partnerships. The Account Manager will be responsible for new sales and growth of existing accounts**,** managing relationships with clients. The role involves building strong relationships with the clients and to grow the account across all products and services.

**Responsibilities**

**Prospecting, Lead Generation & New Sales**
- Identify and generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, online platforms, and referrals.
- Qualify leads to determine their level of interest and their potential fit for your products.
- Build strong sales pipeline
- Maintain and tracking progress of all leads and deals
- Achieve assigned annual sales target
- Post sales follow-up to ensure smooth implementations and address concerns
- Provide weekly / monthly / quarterly and annual sales reports and updates to manager and management
- Work with Manager and Management to build and carry out sales strategy
- Maintain and manage all communication (calls, tasks, activities, and potentials)
- Maintain and update all client information on a weekly basis on required documents and CRM systems.

**Account Growth & Upselling**
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products and services that align with the client's evolving needs..
- Proactively engage with clients to discuss how technology can continue to support their educational goals.

**Client Relationship Management, Engagement & Retention**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within educational institutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests.
- Provide responsive and high-quality customer support to address any issues or questions promptly.
- Continuously demonstrate the value that your education technology brings to their institution.
- Share success stories, case studies, and data showcasing how your solutions have positively impacted other clients.
- Have meetings (f2f or online) with all clients periodically
- Build personal connections with key decision-makers and influencers within the client's organization.
- Supporting the CSM team during all phases of course rollout across all semesters
- Bookstore management to ensure consistent availability of course packs/texts
- Informing bookstore staff about updated editions
- Coordination of marketing efforts

**Travel and Networking**
- Attend education-related conferences, workshops, and events to expand the company's presence and network with potential clients.

**Product and Market Knowledge**
- Have a thorough understanding of all products and their features.
- Have a thorough understanding of the market (courses, departments, course codes, course outlines, pathways, academic institutions, etc.).
- Have a fair understanding of the content of all products.
- Have a good understanding of the new products and features in development.
