Procurement and Setup Manager

The Procurement and Setup Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end procurement process and the initial setup and implementation of equipment, services, installations and resources across the organization. This role ensures that all procurement activities align with company policies and budgets, and that setup tasks are completed accurately and on time. Working closely with vendors, finance, operations, and project teams, the Procurement and Setup Manager plays a critical role in optimizing sourcing strategies and setting up operations efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Procurement Management**:
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to source quality products, services, and materials at competitive prices.
- Track market trends, pricing changes, and availability of supplies to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee purchase order processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels to anticipate needs and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- **Setup and Implementation**:
- Coordinate the setup of equipment, technology, and infrastructure as per project or operational requirements.
- Collaborate with teams to define specifications and ensure that purchased items meet operational needs.
- Manage timelines and resources to ensure that setup and installation activities are completed on schedule.
- Identify and troubleshoot setup issues, coordinating with vendors or internal teams for swift resolution.
**Vendor Relationship Management**
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure reliability and long-term partnership.
- Evaluate vendor performance regularly and address issues as they arise to maintain quality standards.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with vendors to achieve favorable agreements.
- **Budget and Cost Control**:
- Work within the budget constraints, monitoring expenses and ensuring cost-efficiency in procurement and setup.
- Forecast procurement expenses and report on budget adherence to senior management.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs or improve efficiency through bulk purchasing, process improvements, or alternative vendors.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:
- Ensure all procurement and setup activities comply with internal policies, legal standards, and industry regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive records of purchases, vendor contracts, and setup procedures for audit purposes.
- Prepare reports on procurement and setup activities, presenting insights and recommendations for process improvements.
**Requirements**:
- Preferably bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or setup/implementation roles.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in vendor management.
- Proficiency in procurement software
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards is a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
